How do I pay rent?
There are a number of ways that you can pay rent at EcoFlats. The easiest and most practical way is to pay online through our Online Tenant Portal. Your portal is a personalized account that will show your rent and utility account balances. This services utilizes an e-check platform and is FREE TO YOU!
Your property manager will email you an activation email to set up this account. Please follow the instructions in the email. If you do not receive this email, please contact the property manager and we can send you another activation email. Once you have activated your account you can access your account at the following URL: http://ecoflats.appfolio.com/connect/
Through this tenant portal, you will also be able to submit and monitor maintenace requests.
You can also pay with an electronic money order at any 7-11. If you wish to do this, I will give you a payslip barcode. You will take this barcode and your cash to 7-11 and the clerk will scan your barcode and accept your rent payment. In my experience, 7-11 clerks aren't often trained well enough to perform this function and they may not know how to do it. I recommend simply using the e-check option mentioned above.
A third option is to mail a check in to the office. You can mail a check in to the office, however, if the post office loses your check and it is not delivered, you may be responsible for any late fees associated with a late rent payment. If you would like to go this route, please contact the property manager for a mailing address.
